DaveNet : Patents and the W3C and OpenPhD: W3C_Patent_Policy - W3C is thinking about ways to allow it’s members (such as adobe, apple, microsoft, ibm and so on) to patent the work they do. This might be something bad (having to pay to use the standards) or good (companies protect their work while still being able to contribute to free webstandards… which ever way it will turn it will for sure bet different… give your feedback on it to w3c.
“We will resume our normal lives, but the fear will not go away. The airliner as bomb, the bomb in the stadium, the sarin gas in the subway: These are the prospects that will haunt us. Such thoughts will be paranoid, of course, and somewhat self-indulgent. Obviously most people will live out their lives with no more contact with terrorism than the horrific images they see on their television sets. But it will be enough.” - David Rieff, There is no alternative to war
youngpup.net - one of my favorite sites just got even better with a very cool fluid structure
Groovetech: Home - still one of the best places for you interested in DJing.
AshleyIT Remote Scripting - simpel but complete script for making server calls without page reload, works in NS4+ and IE4+…
Weblogs.Com : Express yourself to the world - added myself…
this has been a sucky day… at least 8 of my friends got fired from my office as a result of a, one the nowdays so common, efficiency program at our company. Hope the remaining part of year 2001 will be better then how it’s been so far.
