MSDN is hosting a poll on their future design. Judging from the HTML source of the pages they still don’t understand CSS. Anyone feel like taking a stab at making the code, and not only the design, better?
“Vagabonding.com chronicles the solo, one year, round-the-world journey of Mike Pugh, an optimist from Chicago, USA.”
What an amazing site. And even more amazing journey. I wan’t to leave snowy Sweden right away and start our planned trip to South america. Hopefully, this autumn we’re going.
W3C today published a requirements document for the future printing profile for SVG. The primary focus is on color specifications and having multi-page images. I wonder when we’ll see this replace postscript in our printers?
Kevin found a great article on building dynamic assemblies using System.Reflection.Emit. This is exactly what I’ve been doing the last two days. Reflection must be the single most powerful feature of .NET.
Opera gets back at MSN but releasing a special version of Opera. What it does? Makes the content of msn.com looks like it was written by thw swedish chef. Mark has a screenshot. :-D
Movable Type 2.6 has been released. Text formating is the big news. They also added support for Creative Commons licenses, a few new databases, status on comments and more.
They also announced the upcoming Movable Type Pro which will be a more powerful version, but that will no longer be free to use.
Lazyweb wish: I’m hosting a bunch of blogs on my installation of MT (>10, might soon be >50). Most of these share the same templates, so, when I change something in one of the templates I want to rebuild all blogs. Instead of doing this one-by-one I would like a simple “Rebuild all blogs”. Anyone got this already or has a good idea to where to start building it?
Thanks for helping out!
Yesterday we finally launched and announced svg.org, what we hope will be a good community site for all things SVG. Currently we’re still beta testing it and will add more features and time goes by.
The wiki has moved and a bunch of people have their blogs there and in a few weeks there will be tutorials and more.
Welcome!
